Double Drop D Tuning: D A D G B D

Double Drop D tuning is sometimes called Double D Down. It's very similar to Drop D but it's high E is tuned to D just like the low E.

Steps to Tune Your Guitar to Double Drop D:

1. Lower the 6th string a whole step to D Place your finger on the 6th string 7th fret and make it the same pitch as the open 5th string which is an A.
2. Lower the 1st string a whole step to D Place your finger on the 2nd string 3rd fret and make the 1st string the same pitch.
